Charge Time Estimator (SOC to Ready)
Estimate how long it takes to reach a target SOC using constant-current or constant-power charging with a simple CC→CV model.
Should I use A or W mode?
Use **A** for DC chargers/CC stages and **W** for inverter/AC chargers that regulate power. If unsure, pick **A** from your charger’s rated current.
What CC→CV% and CV average should I pick?
The tool uses presets: **LiFePO₄ ~90% CC end, ~45% CV average**, **AGM ~80% CC end, ~35% CV average**. If your datasheet differs, adjust in the advanced settings.
Does efficiency matter a lot?
Yes. **85–95%** is typical. Lower efficiency means **more Wh** from the charger and slightly **longer time** in power-limited cases.
Why is the last 10–20% so slow sometimes?
In **CV**, current tapers to protect the battery. Cold temps or strict BMS limits increase the taper time.
Can I just multiply Ah by V and divide by W?
That works only for **constant power** and ignores the **CV tail** and **efficiency**. This tool gives a more realistic split.
