Why does L2H2 win so often?
It balances usable space with driving and parking pain. For two people with moderate features and regular travel, L2H2 is the least compromised choice.
When should I jump to L3H2 or L4H2?
If you have 3–4 sleepers, a fixed bathroom and a real workspace or you spend 120+ nights per year on the road, the extra length usually pays off.
Can I still park in cities with L3/L4?
You can but expect more hassle. Tight old towns and small car parks get tricky. If city parking is a priority, stay L1/L2.
Does this account for van width differences?
Yes at a high level via the chosen family. Ducato/Boxer are wider inside which helps sideways beds. Always confirm your exact shell.
