Lightweight ply vs birch — which is better?
Lightweight saves **kg** but dents easier. Birch is tougher and holds screws better. If payload is tight, lightweight ply usually wins; otherwise birch is the all-rounder.
Do these totals include hinges, slides and paint?
No — sheets only. Add a separate allowance for hardware and finishes when budgeting.
